Devesh's second State Senior title of his career

Devesh Anand Naik made a fantastic start by winning seven games in-a-row. He was the sole leader 7.5/8, heading into the final round and was full point ahead of the rest. A draw was enough for him to become a clear champion. That's what he did against Reuben Colaco. Devesh became champion and Reuben third. Atharv Katkar lost to Rishikesh Parab and the latter secured second place. This is Devesh's second Goa State Senior title. Previously, he won it two years ago in 2023.
